Oversees all contracts and grants through the Agency, including the GAAP treatment of those contracts and grants both state and federal. Compiles and posts all monthly journal entries to facilitate the month-end close. Review and prepare monthly financial statements. Conducts account analysis and reconciles balance sheet accounts at month-end. Deliver and report out financial information to other departments. Maintain weekly cash flow report. Serves as backup to AP/Payroll Specialist Assist with the submission of monthly billing invoices and collecting supporting data. Assists in the collection and the preparation of audit data, budgeting, and related data entry into the accounting software. Assist the CFO in preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial reports for grants. Other general accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Must be able to successfully pass background checks and drug screen. Minimum associate degree in accounting or a related field, bachelor’s preferred. Minimum one year of accounting related experience preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel Strong analytical skills are needed to post figures to ledgers and documents, reconcile balance amounts, and resolve miscalculations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
