Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist for a client seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can independently manage a variety of bookkeeping, payroll, and general accounting responsibilities.


Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $21.00 - 25.00/hr depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time -- Monday - Friday
• Upon permanent hire, employees are eligible for health insurance, paid leave, and retirement benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) , including invoices, payments, and vendor records.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) , including invoicing, payment posting, and account follow-up.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule while maintaining strict employee confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping documentation.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger activity.
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with additional general accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate records for accounting and payroll purposes.
• Work independently to ensure deadlines and financial responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience with full-cycle bookkeeping strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll .
• Experience with journal entries and general accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to handle payroll and sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion .
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple accounting functions with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of the accounting process.
