Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in PowerBuilder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building and enhancing platform and product solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of PowerBuilder and its applications in developing robust software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PowerBuilder and software development.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in PowerBuilder (deal breaker skill).
• Proficient in SQL and database management.
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Solid understanding of application architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PowerBuilder.
• Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time and within budget.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
