Job Description

Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack cross-browser web extensions using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Integrate the web extension with REST-based backend microservices.
Collaborate with product management, UX, and development teams on requirements, technical solutions, and architecture.
Implement coding standards, linting, testing, documentation, and software development best practices.
Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in development and production.
Drive application performance and optimization improvements.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
Contribute to internal technical documentation and improve the team’s technology stack and workflow.

Requirements

Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem, including React Query, Hooks, and Context.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility including ARIA, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with REST backend integration and common software design practices such as design patterns and SOLID principles.
Experience with browser extensions such as Chrome or Firefox is strongly preferred.
Experience with C#/.NET is a plus but is not required.
Experience with Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm or yarn, and CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and proficiency with version control.
Strong design skills and full software development lifecycle experience.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, work autonomously, communicate effectively, and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Familiarity with web-based security principles, Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps pipelines, and YAML is preferred.
